Dr. Igor Pesek is Head of the Digital Education Unit at the Ministry of Education and Assistant Professor of Digital Education at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Maribor. He used his expertise to lead national projects such as E-Textbooks for Natural Sciences and the Pedagogical ICT project at the University of Maribor. Dr. Pesek has also participated in many projects both on the national and European levels and is a member of various international working groups in the field of digital education.
Strategies for Digital Transformation and Digital Competences in Education in Slovenia
The speaker will present the Digital Education Action Plan (2021–2027) and the activities to be undertaken by the Ministry of Education for its implementation. Special emphasis will be placed on the Digital Teacher project, which aims to educate teachers in the field of digital education.
