Minister of Digital Transformation of the Republic of Slovenia

The Minister of Digital Transformation of the Republic of Slovenia is an Associate Professor at the ICT Department, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana. She has acted as coordinator of several national and international research and development projects in the field of using new digital technologies for innovation and urban, village and community development. She has collaborated with the European Commission in several thematic groups on Digital Innovation Hubs and rural development.

She is a member of an international team of researchers who developed the SEROI+ methodology to measure and monitor the socio-economic and environmental return on investment of digital products and services. She has authored and co-authored numerous scientific and professional publications in the field of digital transformation and was the first President of IEEE Women in Engineering Slovenia. She is one of the 50 women in ICT leadership positions selected to participate in the US State Department-funded multi-regional project #HiddenNoMore: Empowering Women in STEM fields.
